The Pelsue LifeGuard combines a manhole guard, fall protection anchorage, and rescue capability into a single frame that one person can deploy in minutes. Structural grade aluminum and steel form the barricade while safety chains keep the opening accessible.

This combination includes the Pelsue LifeGuard (LG5A), occupying 42"W x 42"L x 75"H (open) when deployed (upper assembly 42 lbs, guard assembly 33 lbs, 75 lbs total). Man-rated to 310 lbs with a 5,000 lb. overhead proof load, it includes the LG-C carrying case for the upper assembly.

This configuration also includes the PHQR-T45 Quick Rescue Hoist, which ships complete with 45' of 3/16" Technora® rope with an ANSI Z359-compliant swivel snap hook, and features a rope-gripping cleat rather than a rope fixed permanently to the drum. It attaches using the bracket and mounting plate already included with the LifeGuard system, no additional bracket purchase is needed for this single-device setup.
