Description

The Pelsue PHQRR-X45 Quick Rescue Hoist shares the PHQR line's rope-gripping-cleat design for fast, slack-free rescue retrieval. This reverse-rotation model loads rope on the topside of the drum with the drive handle on the right, and ships complete with 45' of 3/16" Technora® rope and a wichard hook.

Specifications:

  • Man-rated to 310 lbs. (capacity valid only when there are 4 complete wraps of rope on the drum)
  • 5.5:1 gear ratio, single speed drive
  • Retrieval rate of 23' per minute
  • Secondary centrifugal "overspeed" brake
  • Double pawls on the friction brake eliminate the risk of free-wheeling
  • Low wear, high-temperature brake pads require minimal maintenance
  • Anti-friction drive bearings for trouble-free continuous use
  • Slip clutch drive prevents back-winding of the cable drum
  • Zinc-plated and anodized aluminum components resist corrosion in harsh environments
  • Removable drive handle with speeder knob
  • Gear teeth cover
  • Equipped with a standard Pelsue Quick-Release bracket (#501073-001) for mounting
  • Soft-sided carrying case included
  • Weight: 21.5 lbs. (per Pelsue's published spec; First Place Supply's site has listed this as 22 lbs.)
  • Designed and tested as a Mechanical Retrieval Device per OSHA 1910.146 and ANSI Z117.1
  • Rope material: Technora® synthetic rope only, max 70' — wire rope cannot be used on this series

Note: An additional bracket is only required if mounting to a LifeGuard System, Davit System, or Rescue Tripod — MB-PF1 for LifeGuard/Davit, or MB-TL1 for the Tripod. The hoist's built-in Quick-Release bracket handles direct mounting otherwise. Using an incompatible bracket voids the hoist's rated capacity.

Note: An independent lifeline (Standard or 3-Way SRL) is required alongside this hoist for OSHA compliance; the hoist itself is a retrieval device, not a fall-arrest lifeline.
