This is the Tripod-compatible "T" variant and this combo includes the correct MB-TL1 kit for tripod mounting. This specific hoist carries 70' of Technora® synthetic rope and weighs 21 lbs. Technora® rope is the preferred choice in environments where electrical conductivity is a concern.
